Now Booking for Carnival's new cruise ship! The opening for sale of the 2020 inaugural season itineraries for Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras are open.    

Carnival has brought back the name of our very first ship.  

Mardi Gras will be delivered in August 2020, with a maiden voyage in Europe, a transatlantic journey and then several cruises out of New York before reaching its permanent home of Port Canaveral, Fla. in October 2020.  The ship’s innovation will be led by it being the first ship in North America to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), but it will also include many guest-facing innovations, including the first roller coaster at sea.

Aboard the Mardi Gras you’ll meet BOLT™: the fastest — and first! — rollercoaster at sea. Strap in and zoom your motorcycle-style speed machine around an open-air course high, high above sea level. You know how on most rollercoasters... actually, never mind. Forget other coasters because this all-electric thrill ride puts you in the driver’s seat. That means you actually get to control how fast you go, so hit the gas and try for the fastest time, go for the biggest thrill — plus some amazing 360° ocean views! And for the folks who choose to chill: go light on the pedal, and this just might be the coaster for you!
